In 2015, the Federal Trade Commission released its new rules for Disclosure ComplianceThese rules are set in place to ensure that readers or viewers of web media (blogs, Youtube videos, etc.) know if the blogger/presenter is sponsored, endorsed, or partnered with a different company. In blog terms, the readers need to know if the blogger is making money by sharing a link or product.

Writing Blog Posts Using Keywords

When you do your research properly, you are going to start experiencing a higher ranking on search engines. One thing you need to understand, you will not rank well until you get some content on your website.

  • Using keywords and phrases effectively
  • Improving your ranking on search engines
  • Content layout strategy
  • Writing content with efficiency
  • Build up your confidence in your writing
  • More content leads to higher ranking  and more traffic
  • As time goes by, you will begin to start earning income regularly

These are what you need to learn and practice to be successful, and another major benefit from becoming efficient you will become an authority in your niche.

Becoming An Authority In Your Niche

As you become an authority, you will be respected by the search engines. Once this happens, you are going to be ranking on the first pages regularly. The more content you write the sooner you will be noticed, so you better love writing, since you will be doing a lot of it.

Authority leads to ranking, and ranking leads to traffic. When this magic takes place you will know it, you will start to experience steady sales.

Understanding this simple process will be the key to your success, but what happens to many bloggers is they become impatient. You really need to motivate yourself, and I do this by focusing on the people I am helping.

Choosing Your Keyword Or Phrase

No matter how long it takes, you will want to spend as much time as you need to find the best words or phrases. I find many people don’t put enough time into it, you must be patient when researching with your preferred research tool.

  • Is your keyword relevant to your niche?
  • You are searching for over 30 searches or more
  • Less than 100 competition
  • Any phrases must make sense
  • Spelling counts
  • Proper grammar is a must

By following my simple guide you will build authority, but you must be patient and not get discouraged. Proving to the search engines you are an expert or authority is the key, so be sure to write these down or bookmark this article.

Ready To Write Your First Blog Post?

I am sure those of you who have been following my articles are ready, but for those of you who have missed some posts, you might want to read them to fully understand the process?

  • Keyword in the title of your blog post
  • I always if you notice bold my keyword in my first paragraph
  • Choose enticing headlines to keep your readers attention
  • Write the remainder of your article naturally

One mistake many beginners make is inserting their keywords way too many times, and the search engines notice this and will penalize you for doing so.

Edit Your Post If Needed To Be

I try to reread my article several times, and I find reading it out loud works extremely well for me. If you have family or friends let them read it as well, you will find others will notice things that we miss sometimes.

I have always used Grammarly as I am writing my articles, you will find this tool will make you a much better writer. This is a free tool, so you have no excuse not to be using it. There are others you can try as well, and even professional authors use this tool.

Time To Publish Your First Blog Post

After you complete writing your first blog post, and you are happy with the results you are ready to publish it. We will be discussing adding images in a future article, but for this post, I have not mentioned images.

If you understand the process and wish to add images go right ahead, but I am focusing on you getting the writing process first. By the time you write a few posts, you should begin to naturally be writing using these guidelines.
