I really am guilty of not providing a business email on my website, so I depend on comments from my readers. I am going to share with you some business email account providers, and for those of you who decide you want one, you will know where to go. We will discuss the pros and cons, and this might help you make the decision.

Contact, Visit, Letters, Email, Mail

In 2015, the Federal Trade Commission released its new rules for Disclosure ComplianceThese rules are set in place to ensure that readers or viewers of web media (blogs, Youtube videos, etc.) know if the blogger/presenter is sponsored, endorsed, or partnered with a different company. In blog terms, the readers need to know if the blogger is making money by sharing a link or product.  Read my affiliate disclosure here

Prices are exactly the same for you if your purchase is through an affiliate link or a non-affiliate link. You will not pay more by clicking through to the link.

Business Email Pros

In my first business, I did have a business email, but since then I have chosen not to have one.  First let us look at the positive reason to have one, and then we will look at the reasons I don’t have one.

  • Professional
  • Customer contact
  • If you use certain business tools you might need a business email
  • Credibility
  • Legitimate
  • Email marketing

As an affiliate marketing, I rarely ever experienced using my business email with my first business. If I ever did need one, I can create one in minutes at my blogging community for free.

Business Email Cons

There are only a few negative sides to using a business email, but these can be enough to frustrate many website owners.

  • Extra business expense
  • SPAM mail

I was receiving so much SPAM mail I stopped using my business email, and if you want a way for your customers to contact you add a contact form instead.

Best Business Email Providers

That is what I love about my blogging community, I have everything I need for my business all in one place. Why pay several companies for everything you need, I just pay one price instead of paying a much higher monthly fee.

  • Zoho Workplace
  • Rackspace
  • Blue Host
  • Fast Mail
  • Office 365

These are the top five most affiliate marketers recommend, I see more people with online stores in need of this type of email account than bloggers. Anyway, I am going to share a little about each one with you, and you can decide if this is something you want to do?

Zoho Workplace

You will find the majority of business owners using Zoho Workplace are entrepreneurs, You can get access to a free plan and this is what it includes. Beware most of these providers expect you to host your website with them, and if you don’t the freebie is not available.

  • Storage limit of 5GB
  • Attachment limit of 25MB
  • Email addresses
  • Available for five users
  • Email signatures
  • Free basic plan
  • Lite plan $1.00 per month

If I was going to get a business email outside of my blogging community, I would more likely consider Gsuite.

This is considered to be an inexpensive solution for business owners, you will be getting just the basic features.

  • 25GB mailboxes
  • Premium spam and virus protection
  • Unlimited email addresses
  • Automated email scheduling
  • Mobile access
  • Free trial
  • Basic version $2.99 per month
  • Plus plan $3.99 per month

What I found out when I started my first business, I was paying every month and rarely using my business email account. This is especially a waste of money when starting out, so even though it is inexpensive it still is something you are paying for and might not be using?

Blue Host

Recommended again for entrepreneurs, and they are using Blue Host as a website provider. If you are using, it would be better to just go with Gsuite.

  • Five email accounts
  • 50GB of storage
  • Email forwarding
  • IMAP and POP support, meaning you can manage your business correspondence from Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo
  • Easy to set up
  • Introductory price $3.95 per month
  • Regular price $7.95 per month

Most business owners with professional business email accounts are using, and are using their hosting company.

Fast Mail

This is popular among freelancers and websites that use business email very seldom, and here is their basic plan.

  • 2GB of cloud storage
  • Support for 36 languages
  • Synchronization with your mail, calendar, and contacts
  • Ad-free interface
  • Personal support
  • Advanced features in the standard and professional plan such as unlimited archiving space or email addresses that match your website domain name
  • Basic plan $3.00 per month
  • Standard plan $5.00 per month
  • Professional plan $9.00

You will also find many of these require you to pay annually, so that can add up if you are just starting a new business.

How to market your business writing emails for Beginners

  • Spam and virus protection
  • Different collaboration and productivity tools
  • Business Essentials $5.00 per month

I am one who looks to get the most for my money, so I would more likely go with this one for the business productivity tools and email.
